A collection of original fine art paintings by Johanna McKinney, inspired by the British countryside and the animals within it.
Working pastel, pencil or oils, I create expressive animal portraits and countryside paintings that capture the beauty of animals and the countryside surrounding them. Each piece is drawn or painted by hand in my studio, using my own photography and observations as the starting point.
These are one of a kind works. Every original is created individually with its own marks, textures and details, and is available to purchase directly from the studio.
Explore the collection below to discover the stories behind each piece, view the artwork in detail and find information about its size, framing and availability.
